Rental insurance terms and conditions

  • As part of our rental contract, RMS requires that customers renting equipment hold sufficient insurance.
  • If customers do not have insurance or it does not meet the minimum requirements, we offer Rental Equipment Protection and Rental Liability Protection as an add on to satisfy the insurance requirement. I have attached a brochure that gives a glimpse of the coverage.

  • For customers without sufficient insurance, our team will add Rental Equipment Protection (REP) to the rental contract. REP provides coverage in the event of damage to the machine for risks like collision, fire, flood, overturns, and more. RMS also offers Rental Liability Protection, which customers may choose to add to their rental contract. This offers an additional layer of protection for losses such as third-party bodily injury and property damage that occur while operating the rented equipment.
